got to know and love Africa on her bicycle. Her first trip took her to Kenya 30 years ago. She spent six weeks cycling through the East African country. Further trips to different corners of Africa followed. When she is not sitting at her desk in an executive position at a large German insurance company, she supports Future for Elephants e.V. in strategic issues with public relations and website design. She is particularly committed to the preservation of elephant habitat and seeks solutions to the human-animal conflict.
